How to split pension income?

Go to "Election to Split Pension Income to Spouse" page.

Note:The pension split can only be done in one direction, which means one spouse gives and the other receives. Therefore, once one spouse has entered the split amount, the "Splitable pension income" link becomes invisible under the other spouse's name. If you want to try switching rolls, you need to first remove the split amount entered(clear the box or enter zero).

In simple view mode:

If you have eligible pension income to split, the "Splitable pension income" link will be available on the left. Click it to get to that page.

In expert view mode:

If you have eligible pension income to split, the "Splitable pension income" link will be available under "Miscelaneous Numbers" on the left. Click it to get to that page.
