How to claim Donations?

Tip: You do not have to claim the donations on your return the same year they are made. It may be more beneficial to carry them forward and claim them in any of the next five years, or over the next ten years for a gift of ecologically sensitive land made after February 10, 2014 .

If you are in Simple view:

Click on "Interview setup" ==> check "Donations not showing on slips" on the right ==>
click Next at the bottom ==> click on "Donations not showing on slips" on the left to get to the page.

If you are in expert view:

Click on "Donations & Gifts" under "General Credits" on the left to get to the page. Click Next when finish.
